Stayner Hitmen Registration

All registration is completed online.  

New players will be required to upload a copy of their birth certificate or passport – please have it available.

To Register:

  1. Click [Register Now] below
  2. Sign in or sign up as a new member (ensure the new member is the parent/guardian information)
  3. Once you sign in, it will take you to the member portal
  4. Click [New Registration]
  5. Click on participant you wish to register
  6. Click on the registration product you wish to register for (select the product based on the age of the player on their birthday of the current year)
  7. Read waiver and click [I Agree]
  8. Upload proof of age document (for new registrations)
  9. Select payment method: Visa/MasterCard or direct deposit 

Register by April 1, 2026 to receive the Early Bird Discount per registration (fee listed is the early bird rate, prices go up on April1, 2026). 

All registrations must be paid in full in order to be processed (or they are just sitting in holding). You must be paid in full and processed in order to try out for representative teams. Also, to take advantage of our Early Bird rates you must be paid in full before the Early Bird deadline! NEW THIS YEAR, we are offering split payment options - split payments are only available for early bird registrants.

Important Info

REFUND POLICY

The Stayner Minor Lacrosse Association charges a $100 administration fee for ALL REFUNDS (unless the program is cancelled by the SMLA) to cover OLA fees. NO REFUNDS will be issued after a player has been on the floor for a minimum of two(2) sessions. 

All requests for refunds must be made in writing to the SMLA Registrar at staynerhitmenregistrar@gmail.com. 

Refund Requests due to injury withdrawals will be treated on a case by case basis. If you are entitled to a refund, the Club Treasurer will contact you.

OUTSTANDING FEES

All players must have fees from 2025 paid in full before being allowed to register for the 2026 season.

NSF FEE

All NSF cheques will be subject to a $25 fee.

RELEASE FEE

The Stayner Minor Lacrosse Association charges a $75 fee for ALL RELEASE REQUESTS. You must first register with the Stayner Minor Lacrosse Association before a release can be heard or considered. 

You can find a copy of the OLA Release Request on the OLA website. Release requests cannot be submitted prior to March 1st, 2026. Once completed, requests can be submitted to: staynerhitmenpresident@gmail.com 

PLAYER FINES

(a) If a playing member is fined by the CLA, OLA, Zone or Stayner Minor Lacrosse Association (hereafter called SMLA), the player will pay the fine to the SMLA, who will in turn pay the fining body. The Association may reimburse the fined member, upon the written request of the fined member, or where the member is a minor, upon the request of the parent or legal guardian of the fined member, for a review by board of directors.

(b) If an Adult Member is fined by the CLA, OLA, Zone or SMLA the adult member will pay the fine to the SMLA, who will in turn pay the fining body. The Association may reimburse the adult member, upon the written request of the fined member for a review by board of directors.

(c) Any fines or fees must be paid to SML prior to any player or bench personnel returning to the floor.

(d) Any outstanding fees or fines will automatically disqualify that individual from voting at the Annual Meeting. The member will be considered a member not in good standing until the matter is resolved. 

(e) Any unpaid fines shall be added to the next year’s registration fees for that member.
