PROGRAM INFORMATION
Little Shooters
- 1 practice/week for 8 weeks
- May 6th - June 23rd
- Focused on skill development
- Tuesdays - 6:00 - 6:45
- Registration includes 8 weeks of practices and a t-shirt for each player.
- Lacrosse sticks will be provided for use at practice for those that require, but will be returned at the end of the sessions.
U7 - Paperweights
- 1 practice week for approximately 10 weeks.
- Season begins end of April
- Practices will be held Monday evenings from 6:00-7:00
- Includes skill development and internal games.
- Full lacrosse equipment is mandatory (OLA Box Lacrosse Equipment Guidelines)
- Jerseys will be provided for games.
- A select team will be chosen at the end of May. This program will have an extra fee of $100 and will include extra games and a tournament.
Rep Programs
**EARLY BIRD COST WILL RUN UNTIL APRIL 1st. TO RECEIVE THE EARLY BIRD PRICE, REGISTRATION MUST BE PAID IN THE FULL BY APRIL 1st. ALL REGISTRATIONS RECEIEVED OR UNPAID AFTER THE EARLY BIRD DATE, WILL PAY THE REGULAR LEAGUE FEE.**

2025 Ontario Lacrosse Festival will take place this year in Durham region.

- Includes entry costs to our home tournament as well as Provincials
- Costs for additional tournaments are the responsibility of each team.
- Jerseys will be at an extra charge of $60/player
- Days to be confirmed - Practices/home games to occur at Stayner or Collingwood with potential for a few at Creemore Arena
U22
- 1 practice and 1 game (home/away) per week for approximately 14 weeks
- Includes games with a number of other rep centers
- Includes entry costs to one tournament as well as Provincial
- Costs for additional tournaments are the responsibility of each team.
- Jerseys will be at an extra charge of $60
- Days to be confirmed - Practices/home games to occur at Stayner or Collingwood with potential for a few at Creemore Arena
INFORMATION FOR REGISTERED PLAYERS
- Try outs will occur at the end of April.
- Families of U9-U17 players will be required to support the association by volunteering for timekeeping of home games as well as our home tournament scheduled for early June.
- Families of U9-U22 players will need to raise additional funds as required for teams looking to participate in any tournaments/ events beyond the home tournament and Provincials.

Important Info
REFUND POLICY
The Stayner Minor Lacrosse Association charges a $60 administration fee for ALL REFUNDS (unless the program is cancelled by the SMLA) to cover OLA fees. NO REFUNDS will be
issued after the day prior to the final tryout. All requests for refunds must be made in writing to the SMLA Registrar at staynerhitmenregistrar@gmail.com. Refund Requests due to
Injury withdrawals will be treated on a case by case basis. If you are entitled to a refund, the Club Treasurer will contact you.
OUTSTANDING FEES
All players must have fees from 2024 paid in full before being allowed to register for the 2025 season.
NSF FEE
All NSF cheques will be subject to a $25 fee.
RELEASE FEE
The Stayner Minor Lacrosse Association charges a $50 fee for ALL RELEASE REQUESTS. You must first register with the Stayner Minor Lacrosse Association before a release
can be heard or considered. You can find a copy of the OLA Release Request on the OLA website. Release requests cannot be submitted prior to March 1st, 2025. Once
completed, requests can be submitted to: staynerhitmenpresident@gmail.com
PLAYER FINES
(a) If a playing member is fined by the CLA, OLA, Zone or Stayner Minor Lacrosse Association (hereafter called SMLA), the player will pay the fine to the SMLA, who will in turn pay
the fining body. The Association may reimburse the fined member, upon the written request of the fined member, or where the member is a minor, upon the request of the parent or
legal guardian of the fined member, for a review by board of directors.
(b) If an Adult Member is fined by the CLA, OLA, Zone or SMLA the adult member will pay the fine to the SMLA, who will in turn pay the fining body. The Association may reimburse
the adult member, upon the written request of the fined member for a review by board of directors.
(c) Any fines or fees must be paid to SML prior to any player or bench personnel returning to the floor.
(d) Any outstanding fees or fines will automatically disqualify that individual from voting at the Annual Meeting. The member will be considered a member not in good standing until
the matter is resolved.
(e) Any unpaid fines shall be added to the next year’s registration fees for that member.
